Ok, so, I’m kinda obsessed with Fallen Series lately. Does it really have to be the last book????? **cries**
Now, people are going insane with the line “she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel” This doesn’t mean they will not end up together. I guess in “Passion” we had a clear notion of their love and of Luce’s choices – she said to him “I will always choose you”. So does he. Her travel throught past was suposed to show that what bind them is not the curse, is really love, and this is the key to everything.
I’m gonna sound meddling, but I guess I have most of it figured out. I am not gonna share my thoughts because if I am right people will hate me for spoiling their fun. But I guess the ground for the curse is pretty obvious since, as Lucy said, that line in Passion “See, I’ve grown so fond of you’, ‘I have always been…fond of you”. And the sinopsis, “The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside.” IS SO CLEAR TO ME NOW. But I really need to read the book to be sure that this is going to end well.
I believe the ending of Passion give away a lot, but then we were so concerned that we left some things aside. Like, we kinda worry too much about Lucifer erasing time to cling to details.
Of course, I will not rest until I read it. I really need to be sure that Luce will chose Daniel this one more time. But I’m kinda afraid of keeping hopes high.
I know the series has to end but…. it’s so sad….

Oh My Goodness!!!! I have read the first 3 in 5 days, Starting Fallen in Love Tomorrow!! I just read this brief teaser and am totally in shock, someone other than Daniel. . . OH NO!!!! I’m anxiously awaiting Rapture.!!
When is release date of Rapture please cant wait to read it ?

Okay, calm down and read the line again: “She WAS meant to be with someone else.” Past tense. What if Lucifer created her for himself but then God punished Lucifer by making her Daniel’s love? Lucinda even SOUNDS like a derivative of Lucifer. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t belong with Daniel now. She clearly belongs with Daniel after all that reincarnation. It just means she’s a bigger part of the war between heaven and hell than she realized. That’s my prediction for Rapture. We’ll see if I’m right.

“For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel.” I think that someone might be Miles if I’m honest because they DID kiss and they have that… connection and they really care for each other. But that doesn’t stop Luce from going back to Daniel…
We’ll have to wait and see. I’m really hoping that this one’s going to be brill’ but I know that Lauren Kate won’t let me, and be many, many fans down!
I really hope Luce doesn’t end up with someone other than Daniel, for I will be heartbroken as well. Cheers
Like everyone here, I LOVE the Fallen series and am counting down the days to finally get my hands on Rapture! Obviously gutted that it is the last book in the series, but I hold out the teeniest grain of hope for more in the future, perhaps after the film? Anyhow, I read a few comments but didn’t see anyone say this (apologies if you did, my bad!) I think that she (Luce) has to choose God; believe in God and that is what is meant by ”For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now will be the only one that truly matters.” Just my take on the intriguing excerpt!

I’m probably going to do with this what I did with Passion, which is not put it down until I finish it. I seriously laid in bed for hours upon hours reading Passion and finished it within 24 hours. I didn’t even eat or go to the bathroom. Anyways. I squealed in excitement when it said she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. I didn’t want them to end up together in the end. It’s too predictable. Too happy ending. Really anti climactic. Like one of those, “why did I read this? I already knew they’d be together” kinds of things. I’ve always wanted her to be with Cam, but I doubt that one will happen.

In the book Fallen, Luce is blamed to have caused a fire that involved her friend Trevor to die. Through out the series we learn that Luce dies in a fire every time she kisses Daniel. Does Trevor play a bigger role than we think? wasn’t it a kiss that caused the fire that took his life? Miles didn’t go up in smoke when she kissed him. Why did Trevor? I think this last book will tell us a lot about Luce and who she really is.
Ok…so I have read these books over and over again and never grow tired of the saga…the love worth fighting for…reading the words above regarding Rapture…I believe Luce was suppose to love Lucifer but chose Daniel…I believe Luce as well is an immortal that has been give a body only for the curse bestowed upon her by…Lucifer. If you read and catch some of what the end of Passion says…Lucifer-”See, I’ve grown so fond of you. No, wait, that’s not it. I have always been…fond of you.” then he goes on…”and like all beloveds, I need you in my presence, specially now, so you don’t corrupt my designs. Again.” then goes on a few lines later… “You always did have an inner fire. I love that about you” “If only your spark stayed inside, hmm? Some people are just unlucky in love.” Was this a possible reference like how God made Eve from Adam…Did Lucifer make Luce from himself and expect her to love him? As well, in Fallen when Molly makes a reference…Luce as in Lucifer or something around that…my daughter has my book so I can not quote it…This is just one thought of mine from this reference…
This sounds to me that Lucifer was in love with her and again…she chose Daniel cause in Journey’s end when Daniel revisits Heaven several references are made…first a comment is made about how he is looking into the hazy distance at her…this does not say she is human, in fact in the prologue of the Rapture, in the back of Fallen in Love, Daniel’s thoughts makes a reference as he is falling…”For what did an angel know of death? Daniel had witnessed it come peacefully to some of the new mortal breeds called humans, but death was not the concern of angels.” Is Lucinda actually a fallen angel as well?
Back in Passion…Lucifer was clearly angry when he shouted out…”He will not have his LOVE!” Lucifer’s problem has always been jealousy right? So reading into it, it sound like the old…if I can’t have her no one can…that is why it is Her punishment.
I think Luce will chose Daniel as she has learned from her journey’s he really is her one true love and he has not wavered. I just think her character is going to have to go through the realization, just as she did in Passion that certain things need to happen for love to grow even stronger.

I agree with some of the commentary. I believe Lucinda was meant for Lucifer someway somehow. And as someone else pointed out Lucinda is a derivative of Lucifer. If one pays close attention at the end of of Passion book, when Daniel visits his past self from the moment before the drop he says to the Throne and Lucifer, “My soul is old, but my heart is young,” he said, looking at his earlier self who seem stunned. The he gazed at his beloved’s soul, beautiful and burning bright. That’s enough to indicate that Lucinda was not a mere mortal but possibly a soul, or an angel perhaps, or as said earlier, Lucifer partner. Whats clear is that she was present before the drop in heaven. What is also evident is that their love was prohibited and Lucifer loathed and envied Daniel so he cast the spell upon him. It is insinuated throughout Passion that the Lucifer wanted her to himself. Whatever the explanation might be, it will take a spin upon the fans. I can’t wait to read the book.

I absolutely love this series. I CANNOT wait for this book to come out. The ending of the last one left me on edge!!! CANNOT WAIT!!! I just wish the characters were real. God, I’d fall in love with Cam screw Daniel. I still think she should be with Cam.. just sayin…
